MISSION STATEMENT
“To preserve traditional histories, rights and benefits for Native Americans of the Great Basin pursuant to tribal customs by understanding, educating and managing nuclear risks.”
Ownership-The US is leading the global nuclear energy partnerships to store high-level nuclear waste on property the the Department of Energy does not own and involuntarily and without the consent of the Shoshone people. Science-the proposed repository is in the biosphere, contrary to the intent of deep geologic disposal.
